Time to act to protect net neutrality.

The FCC is inviting the public to comment on net neutrality. If you want to ensure the internet isn’t sold to the highest bidder and censored according to how much you can bribe your provider, then post a comment HERE and tell them: the internet should be regulated like the phone. It should have MORE regulations to ensure an even playing field and no censorship or discrimination. It should not be sold to those who can pay so that corporations can profit at the expense of the taxpayers who paid for the internet in the first place. That’s right. WE paid for it. Now they want to take it and control it and reap the profits. Tell the FCC we want true net neutrality.

Obama was the last president elected by the people. You will never have that freedom again.

First, the Supreme Court further bastardized the constitution by declaring artificial people, in the form of corporations, can spend as much money as they like electing who they want. This despite the fact that real people can’t do that. Of course, real people also have to go to jail when they commit crimes. Artificial people can buy themselves off with money.

What’s the second thing you ask? We have just lost net neutrality. It doesn’t matter what the FCC says, it doesn’t matter what regulations are in place. ComCast has proven that an artificial person can violate the law and nothing will happen to them. In this case, not even a fine. The have effectively pulled the teeth of the FCC. Now ComCast can control broadband traffic, deciding what you can and cannot access on the internet, with absolutely no accountability and no consequences. d

The internet is how Obama got elected.

That means ComCast and it’s corporate friends can control who gets elected in 2010 and 2012.
